Night Calls Chapter Tiffany Granath

John Legend "Pride (In The Name Of Love)"

For someone like me, are fond of the covers today I wanted to offer this alternative version of the 1984 U2 song Pride.
The meaning of this song has been well documented. On April 4, 1968 Martin Luther King was shot as he stood on the balcony of a hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. During his short life, ML King struggled greatly to give and inspire pride in people of color. Bono picked up his desire after having read the writings and the text immediately took shape. While this is the obvious meaning, the allusions to Jesus Christ can not be ignored. Christ came in the name of love, He came and went, he was to justify, he came to change the situation. A man who washed up on a deserted beach could be that Christ was baptized. And, of course, Christ was betrayed with a kiss ...
I like to think of these two versions as to the evolution of a Renewed Sense .. in the first version, the most rock, Bono and the screams of the reef guitar seem to revive the pain, anger, the desire of rebellion of those days ... and the second version, which is well suited to images of a documentary, the piano takes the place of the guitar and the intensity of the voice of John Legend stress the importance of that character and his words ..

Large Amount Of Clear Discharge 5 Dpo

"Friday from baler ... punk-rock is back

A group of kids go to road completely naked on the cover and put a porn star
Others are locked in an insane asylum, but not lose their energy instead
One really wants to engage in a diving competition
All have their hair strictly fired up as the music eletrizzati
Dishes and scratch guitars give way to
oversized pants are replaced with studs and pins
The music, energy, the way you dress everything smells of '70
The punk is back ...

The Clash "Should i stay should i go" ... the origins

Green Day "Basket Case"

Blink 182 "What's My Age Again"

Sum 41 "In Too Deep"

Trivia: to domanad on why all the songs from that period were so short, the lead singer of Green Day said "the songs punk must be an actual shock of energy and energy can not keep for more than 3min "

Can You Wear A Friendship Bracelet In The Shower

The warmth of the snow ... Kings of Convenience

In places like our snow has the strange power to evoke warm feelings ...
warm as a cup of hot chocolate
Hot as the memory of children out of school when you sbaloccava and was fighting in the snow until it was dark
Hot as the time seems to stand still while Hot
flakes fall as the headphones with the pom-poms, gloves and scarves wool
Hot as a picture with your dad in the mountains with him wearing one of those '80s-style suits mountain
hot as the color of the sky in Hot nights
snowing like running to punish those that do hit you by surprise with a snowball
Hot like fire when you enter a cabin in the mountains
Hot like these songs ... Kings of Convenience

Kings of Convenience "Failure"

Kings of Convenience "i do not know what i can save you from (Röyksopp remix)"

Kings of Convenience "Know how"
