The first stop will be the event Mikalojus Konstantinas Ciurlionis National Art Museum in Kaunas in Lithuania.

Mikalojus Konstantinas Ciurlionis (Varena 1875 - Pustelnik 1911) Lithuanian composer and painter, considered and studied in Europe and the world, Italy is a name almost unknown. Čiurlionis Society was a visionary active in the late modern romance and the times, one of the great innovators comparable to Scryabin, Schoenberg and Ravel, with whom he shared not only the year of birth. In 35 years he has composed over 200 compositions for piano, string quartets, numerous choral compositions based on the psalms and some 200 paintings, none of which was sold during his lifetime. Ciurlionis studied piano and composition at the conservatory in Warsaw from 1894 to 1899, later perfected the Leipzig Conservatory (1901 - 190 2), and studied design at 'Institute of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1904 - 1906). It was also very active in the cultural elite of St. Petersburg. Subjects of his paintings are the cycles of the seasons, zodiac signs, Lithuanian law where it is easy to see the strong impact of paganism. As for his musical work, Ciurlionis has adapted many folk songs of the Lithuanian choir, and composed the symphonic poems Miško (In the forest) and Jura (The Sea). The art of Ciurlionis as projected edge is closely tied to his land.
